Can A Fruit Forward Cocktail Really Help With Embryo Implantation? Let’s Explore The Wonders Of Food As Medicine.

You hear that? That’s the sound of thousands of western medicine practitioners turning their heads toward what practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine have known for a long time: that certain foods can also be powerful medicines. That’s right. You don’t have to spend millions of dollars concocting artificial chemical pills in a lab in order to produce powerful and effective medicines. Before aspirin, there was white willow bark. Before Prilosec there was mint tea. And before Zestril, there was cinnamon powder. Common everyday food items can contain medicinal compounds of staggering power. You just have to know where to look and what foods to take in order to help heal your body and to treat your symptoms. In today’s article, we’re going to look into the very promising link between a fruit juice cocktail and its incredible positive impact on IVF embryo transfer outcomes.

What Exactly Is This Amazing Fruit Cocktail Made Out Of?

Great question. We won’t keep you in suspense any longer. It’s made out of just three simple ingredients: Beetroot (aka red beets or table beets), ginger, and watermelon. It may sound like a strange combination, but the results are anything but. With these three combined, patients saw a significant increase in successful IVF embryo implantation AND successful pregnancy as a result of implantation. In one trial, the group that took a daily dose of the cocktail saw an 86% increase in impregnation versus the control group. As a bonus, not a single woman in the fruit cocktail group had a miscarriage, which is a staggering bonus!

Sounds Great. What Is The Recipe?

Ok, now that we’ve hyped it up, here is the recipe. Feel free to tweak and change it as you see fit, but this is the basic structure. Some find it very sweet, so you can add other things to make it a little more balanced or leave it as is, the choice is yours!

1/2 a beetroot (washed and chopped into small cubes)

1 to 2 small slices of watermelon or about 10 cubes that are about 1 inch across (rind removed)

1 to 3 teaspoons of ginger (to taste)

1 cup of cold water (add more as desired)

Other items you wish to add for flavor. You can add things like greek yogurt, apples, blueberries, strawberries, peanut butter, or even carrots. The choice is yours!

Blend together, adding enough filtered water to achieve the consistency you like. We absolutely recommend putting all ingredients into a blender rather than a juicer. This way you also get the benefit of all that fabulous fiber for your gut flora which you lose out on when you use a juicer.
